Technical Skills
Through our network of workforce partners, we can assist individuals in connecting to the training that they need. Training can take the form of on-the-job training with a new employer or attending a classroom-based training. Individuals can receive referral to colleges, universities, and technical colleges that can provide education opportunities to gain a credential to gain better employment. Financial support of tuition and other costs of training may be available through our region’s workforce system partners.
Interpersonal Skills
Through our network of workforce partners, assistance is available to help you be employment ready. This assistance can include helping you search for jobs, honing your interviewing skills, resume writing, and interpersonal or “soft skills”. We define soft skills as communication, teamwork, problem-solving, taking initiative, to name a few characteristics that make up interpersonal skills.
