Support
Childcare Assistance
Support may be available to assist with the cost of childcare while participating in training or employment related activities. Connections to resources like the Wisconsin Shares Subsidy Program and other resources are also made available as needed to address this barrier to training or employment.
Transportation Assistance
Support may be available to assist with the cost of transportation. This support can be received through bus passes or reimbursement of travel costs (this is all dependent on your needs). Some funding may be available to assist with the costs of vehicle repairs as well.
Housing Assistance
Support may be available to assist with the cost of rent and security deposits. Connection to other community resources to assist with other housing needs, such as assistance with utilities, are also made as needed to support you through your employment journey.
Equipment Assistance
Support may be available to assist with equipment required by your new employer to perform your job functions. Some examples of equipment assistance include, but are not limited to, mechanical tools, stethoscopes, boots, helmets, and more.
Technology Assistance
Support may be available to assist with technology necessary or required to complete training. Examples of technology assistance include computers for training, phones, and phone minutes. Connection to other resources available to cover the cost of internet are provided as needed.

Career research is encouraged and facilitated by our staff to help you become an informed job seeker. This will give you information about industries and occupations that are in-demand in the area and determine what occupation is a good fit for you.
