Committed to Care

Determined to advance her career, Stephanie reached out to the NWWIB and enrolled in the Collaboration of Wisconsin Rural Investment in Community Healthcare (COW) program that enabled her to return to school and pursue training as a Substance Use Counselor. The program provided the vital support needed to balance education and work, helping her move closer to her professional goals.

Currently, she is employed at Bayfield County Human Services, where she had applied for a service facilitator position two years prior. With her ongoing education and dedication, Stephanie is building the skills and experience necessary to make a meaningful impact in the field of substance use counseling.

Her journey exemplifies how targeted support can open doors to new career opportunities and empower individuals to serve their communities in impactful ways.
